St. Louis Blues welcome their adorable teammate to practice

The cutest thing to hit the NHL may just be the St. Louis Blues’ newest puppy mascot, Barclay.

The pup joined the team for practice on December 13. The team shared footage of the adorable mascot on their Twitter page tweeting “Ruff practice.” Barclay can be seen chasing a hockey stick around the ice before he finally manages to retrieve it and drag the stick across the ice.

He eventually decides to take matters into his own hands, grabs the hockey puck and trots away. As of writing, the post has over 5,000 retweets.

Barclay is living and playing with the Blues while he undergoes training to be a service dog.
