St. Pete police arrest 6 drunk drivers overnight
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - St. Pete police said six drunk drivers were taken off the street Friday night.
The police department conducted a city-wide DUI "wolfpack" operation Friday night and into Saturday morning.
During the operation, six people were arrested for driving under the influence. In addition, there were two narcotics arrests and six arrests for driving while license suspended or revoked.
Police said they also issued 101 traffic citations.
The operation is part of the department's commitment to reduce deaths, injuries, and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving.
