Tampa police search for 'Laundromat Looters'

Tampa police are searching for three suspects they say are targeting laundromats in burglaries in several counties.

Police released surveillance video of the trio they say broke into a locked office at a Tampa laundromat on August 7th around 2:30 in the morning.

Police say the two men and a woman pulled up to the laundromat in a red car and used a crowbar hidden inside of their laundry basket to pry into the locked office.

They fled the scene without cash or property in that case.

Detectives have dubbed them the trio the "laundromat looters" and say they are responsible for burglarizing at least five laundromats along I-4.

Police are working with several agencies including the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Orlando Police Department and agencies in Wildwood and Sumter County to find them.

The suspects are described as a white male, about five-foot-nine inches tall, about 170 pounds with medium length black hair and eyeglasses, a second white male around six-foot-two, around 190 pounds with low cut black hair and full sleeve arm tattoos, along with a white female about five-foot-two, 170 pounds with dark brown hair.
