Valrico man fatally shoots woman during 'act of foreplay,' deputies say
VALRICO, Fla. (FOX 13) - A Valrico man was arrested for accidentally shooting and killing a woman during an “act of foreplay,” deputies said.
Hillsborough County deputies said 23-year-old Andrew Shinault shot the victim, who is also in her 20s, in the upper body with his registered handgun. The shooting happened Sunday at his home on Grand Canyon Drive.
Deputies said the woman -- who was not named -- was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital, where she later died.
On Friday, Shinault was arrested on a manslaughter charge and booked into the Orient Road Jail on a $50,000 bond.
