Video: TPD searching for suspects in November shooting that injured teen

The Tampa Police Department released cell phone video Friday in hopes of tracking down a group of suspects in a shooting that injured a teen more than two months ago.

Shooting investigation

The backstory:

According to TPD, several teens were in a vehicle headed westbound on Laurel St. shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2024, when a dark-colored sedan pulled up alongside them near Doyle Carlton Dr.

An argument ensued, police said, leading to shots fired from the sedan.

One bullet hit a teen passenger in the other vehicle, who survived.

What does the video show?

What we know:

Video shows the suspects' car, which police describe as a newer model Toyota Camry, likely dark blue.

TPD zoomed in on the faces of the three suspects, who investigators believe are males and could also be teens.
