Woman fatally shot in Riverview neighborhood

RIVERVIEW, Fla. (FOX 13) - An argument escalated to a deadly shooting in a Riverview neighborhood, deputies said.

Hillsborough County deputies arrested 35-year-old DeAndre Maurice Hill in the death of the female victim. Deputies said they responded to a shots fired call in the 10000 block of Avian Forrest Drive on Sunday night. When they arrived, they said they found a woman shot. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Investigators aid Hill got into an argument with the female victim outside his home at 10605 Avian Forrest Drive. During the argument, they said he shot her multiple times as she tried to leave the home in her vehicle.

A witness identified Hill as the shooter, officials said, and located him shortly after the shooting at 3883 U.S. Highway 301 South. He faces charges including first-degree murder. Officials with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said deputies have been called out to the home on at least four other occasions. 

The victim's identity has not been released.
