LARGO, Fla. - The home of a firefighter responding to Hurricane Irma burned down Sunday night.
The neighbors of firefighter Mike Jones says they noticed smoke coming from the home around 10 p.m.
However, because Largo Fire suspended service during the storm, neighbors say they didn't get there until 3 a.m.
The firefighter, his wife, and three children lost everything.
Neighbors and fellow firefighters have started a fundraiser to help support him.
