Amber alert cancelled for 11-year-old girl from Apopka
APOPKA (FOX 13) - Authorities have cancelled an amber alert for an 11-year-old girl who was missing from central Florida.
Makayla Fischer, 11, was last seen on Elderton Drive in Apopka.
Fischer was believed to be with 50-year-old Darrell Mills, who is her step grandfather. Mills was arrested when the two were found around 11 a.m. Sunday.
No further details about the case have been released.
