Boil-water alert for some Port Richey residents
PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - The Port Richey Utilities Department says that a water main break has led to a boil-water alert for residents.
According to an alert from Port Richey police, an 8-inch water main break is causing a shutdown of water service west of U.S. 19 and south of the Pithlachascottee River.
As a precaution, they say, all residential customers in the area are on a boil-water notice.
They estimate the repair time at two hours.
