Florida's first medical marijuana drive-thru dispensary opens in Palm Harbor
PALM HARBOR (FOX 13) - Palm Harbor is now home to Florida’s only medical marijuana dispensary drive-thru service in Palm Harbor.
A representative for Curaleaf said the drive-thru service will offer convenience to customers, and easier access for their disabled patients. The drive-thru service is only open to existing Curaleaf customers. First-time customers are required to go inside for a personal consultation on their first visit.
Curaleaf said they will verify that all patients are listed in the state's "Medical Marijuana Use Registry" and have active orders in the system.
"We, at Curaleaf, are proud to bring to the Palm Harbor community its first state-of-the-art medical marijuana dispensary, underscoring our commitment to making this life-changing treatment available and accessible to all, so that suffering patients can find the relief they need," said Lindsay Jones, president of Curaleaf Florida.
Curaleaf plans to open Polk County’s first dispensary in Lakeland next month.
