Amalie Arena transformed into a big top circus Sunday, Lightning-themed of course.

The Bolts Family Carnival was back for the second year in a row.

Families brought their mini hockey fans out for a day of fun, games, and traditional carnival foods.

They got to do all of this with the entire Lightning roster and coaching staff.

“We have an absolute blast putting on an event like this,” said Lightning Foundation Coordinator Sarah Costello. “Normally, we do hockey, which is sort of a rough and tumble sport, but this is a day of family fun.  There is popcorn, candy, we have clowns, you name it, and it’s been a great day so far.”

Proceeds from the event will go to the Lightning Foundation which shares funding with hundreds of local non-profits.
