Missing Child Alert canceled after 11-year-old Jacksonville boy found safe

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Florida law enforcement officials have canceled a statewide alert for an 11-year-old boy from Jacksonville.

The Missing Child Alert for the boy was issued before 2 a.m. Tuesday. Just before 2 p.m., the Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled the alert, saying the child had been found safe.

No other details were provided.
