Monarto Zoo welcomes baby white rhino

Monarto Zoo keepers were overjoyed to learn about the birth of a baby white rhino overnight.

This video shows the female calf staying close to mother Umqali just hours after entering this world. Zoo keepers learned of the calf's birth by Tuesday morning and were overjoyed to see her walking around on her own.

The calf, named Imani, is the sixth born at the South Australia Zoo. She is the sixth rhino born at the zoo.

She and her mother were “doing well and appear very relaxed,” according to keeper Haidee Kinter.
