Deputies: Missing twin girls found unharmed

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it has found twin girls who were taken by their mother.

Rosemary and Juliette Vona, 3, were reported missing and believed to be with their mother, 29-year-old Mary Vona.

Deputies said when Vona’s husband returned home on Nov. 17, the mother and girls were gone, along with their belongings.

A judge had awarded the husband custody of the twins, deputies said.

Vona contacted authorities and voluntarily returned the girls Tuesday evening after seeing news reports.
