Pinellas Park police officers helped wrangle an emu trying to go with the flow of traffic on 118th Avenue Thursday.

The Pinellas Park Police Department posted photos of the emu being followed by multiple law enforcement vehicles.

Police did not say where the large bird escaped, but thankfully, they were able to get it back to its home.

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and officers from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission helped with the emu round-up.

In the post on Facebook, Pinellas Park PD said: "The only thing missing from this scene was Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes (circa 1949)."
