Family's home hit by car for second time

For the second time in seven months, a Tampa family is homeless after a car driven by an alleged drunk driver crashed through their home.

"Unless this house has an omen or something, it is pretty much bad luck," said Yvonne Mosley.

Back in March, a crash through the living room wall put the father of Mosley's child in the hospital.

He was asleep on the couch.

"A drunk driver plowed through at 5 o'clock in the morning," she said of that incident. "It ran him over like 50-60 miles an hour."

After seven months of staying on friends' couches, her family, barely supported by her disability checks,  was able to move back in.

"We weren't even unpacked or anything."

Friday night, she was out, when it happened again.

"I received a call from the sheriff's office stating please give us a call, there has been an accident at your house, and I am like, why are they just calling now?"

This time, driver Danica Zagara didn't realize Pond Lake ends and drove through the home at the T on Oregon Avenue.

Deputies say Zagara was drunk.

Since deputies once again say the home is unsafe, she and her two teenaged children are forced to scramble again for a place to stay.

She has a history of medical problems and survives on Social Security.

"Right now, we don't have the means or ways to move, but we are trying to get something set up."

But there is one thing to be thankful for: everyone she loves survived.

"We are staying pretty strong. We are thankful no one was hurt. That's the main thing."
