Small plane safely lands along I-75 in southwest Florida

NAPLES, Fla. - No one was hurt when a small plane made an emergency landing along Interstate 75 this morning, troopers say.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the single-engine plane landed along the highway near Pine Ridge Road in Collier County, successfully avoiding any vehicles on the ground. 

Two people were onboard.

The cause of the emergency was not immediately clear.
