SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch scrubbed Friday at Cape Canaveral

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket expected to try again to launch from Cape Canaveral Thursday evening was scrubbed for a second time. The company had planned to send a communications satellite into orbit early Wednesday evening, but weather scrubbed the launch.
The launch was scrubbed in the final minutes before launch again on Thursday.
SpaceX successfully landed a Falcon 9 on a pad in December at Cape Canaveral. However, they will attempt sea-based rocket landing after this launch when it tries again. Sea-based landings are considered to be much more difficult. The last three times SpaceX attempted barge landings all ended in failure.
