Wesley Chapel man hid camera inside roommate's bedroom, deputies say
WESLEY CHAPEL (FOX 13) - A Wesley Chapel man was arrested for placing a hidden camera to watch his roommate, deputies said.
Pasco County deputies arrested 24-year-old Michael Petralia on a video voyeurism charge. Deputies said he placed a camera in the attic of the home with the lenses peering through a small construction hole in the victim’s bedroom, without her knowing.
Investigators said Petralia made sexual advancements towards the victim by flashing his private parts and leaving sex toys throughout the house. When they found the camera’s memory card, deputies said there was video showing Petralia placing the hidden camera in the attic.
According to his arrest affidavit, “the victim expressed she is in great fear and is afraid to stay home alone in her residence.”
Petralia was arrested and booked into a county jail.
