Plans to reopen Florida colleges' campuses approved

Members of Florida’s Board of Governors agreed Tuesday that the state’s 12 public universities could welcome students and faculty back to campus in the fall after college officials outlined measures and restrictions to prevent the further spread of the new coronavirus.

Univ. of Florida fights lawsuit over student refunds

The University of Florida Board of Trustees is asking a federal judge to toss out a potential class-action lawsuit that contends the school should be required to refund tuition and fees to students after closing its campus in March because of the coronavirus pandemic.
