
Katelyn Massarelli
Katelyn Massarelli is a Digital Content Creator for FOX 13. She grew up in the Tampa Bay area and always dreamed of a job at her favorite news station.
In her time at FOX 13, she’s covered multiple hurricanes, including Helene and Milton, as well as countless breaking news stories for the station's digital platforms.
Before heading home to FOX 13, Katelyn spent more than two years covering the Southwest Florida area as a Digital Producer for NBC2 and ABC7. It’s there that she learned about breaking news and all things digital was where she shined.
She graduated from The University of Tampa in 2019 where she learned the ins and outs of the field. In her time at UTampa, she worked for the Tampa Bay Times as an Editorial Assistant and Correspondent while also serving as Editor-in-Chief for two years on The Minaret, the college’s newspaper.
Katelyn’s excited that her passion for storytelling brought her home to Tampa Bay and she continues to love serving FOX 13’s viewers on all digital platforms.
